Meet the Team Members at Jenn's Dogs

It all started with the Love of a dog...

Jenn Friedline CBCC- KA, CPDT-KA, FDM - Owner/Lead Trainer

Jenn Friedline began her dog training journey in the summer of 2017, like many trainers, while searching for ways to better support her own dog. Living with a reactive dog became the catalyst for deeper learning and ultimately shaped her passion for helping dogs and their guardians navigate big emotions with compassion, clarity, and respect.

Since opening Jenn’s Dogs in October of 2020, Jenn has focused her work on emotional well being, recovery, and sustainable behavior change. Central to her philosophy is a deep commitment to the welfare of all living beings. Her approach prioritizes inclusion, consent, and agency, recognizing that dogs, like people, deserve to feel safe, heard, and supported in the learning process. By honoring each dog’s emotional experience, Jenn helps families build relationships rooted in trust rather than control.

Jenn is dedicated to ongoing education and evidence based practices. In 2021, she earned her CPDT-KA certification and completed a Master Class on Aggression. In 2023, she completed the Applied Ethology Family Dog Mediation Professional Course, earning her FDM certification. In 2024, Jenn further demonstrated her expertise by earning her CBCC-KA certification as a Dog Behavior Consultant.

Outside of work, Jenn shares life with her husband and three dogs. Together, they enjoy good food, good wine, and meaningful time spent connecting with the world around them.

Sarah Lund - Community Outreach Coordinator

Sarah was born and raised in Oregon. She lives with her husband and two dogs, Sasha and Lewis. She grew up surrounded by animals and is a big time rescue advocate. She has always felt a deep connection with any dog she meets. Growing up she saw the bad rap that pitties got and she believes that every dog is a good dog. As an Adult Sarah met and fell in love with a little pit bull at the local shelter. Butters was the start to her journey of bringing home pitties and giving them the best life she could. That passion for dogs is what she is known for and now she is taking it one step further. She plans to use her passion and new skills to foster dogs and help them become even more adoptable.

She graduated from Portland State University.

She loves to travel, go to the beach and hike with her family.

Cheyanna Kelly DN-CET - Trainer

Chey Kelly was born and raised in Yamhill, Oregon, where her love for animals began on her family’s farm. After more than a decade participating in 4H, she discovered a deep passion for helping dogs and their guardians build stronger, more trusting relationships.

Chey is a graduate of Yamhill-Carlton High School and currently holds her certification as a Canine Enrichment Technician. She is continuing her education with a focus on compassionate, science-based support and is actively working toward becoming a certified Family Dog Mediator. As part of her ongoing professional journey, Chey is excited to begin teaching and developing enrichment and scentwork classes at Jenn’s Dogs, with the goal of improving quality of life for both dogs and the people who love them.

Stevie - Demo Dog

Stevie is a 3-year-old Australian Kelpie and German Shepherd mix. Chey and Stevie have been a team since Stevie was just 12 weeks old, and she has completed all of her professional training through Jenn’s Dogs. Stevie has successfully completed Level 1 and Level 2 with Trainer Sarah, as well as Level 3, Level 4, and the Calm Down package with Trainer Jenn.

Outside of training, Stevie’s favorite activities include hiking, destuffing toys, playing fetch, and romping around with her jolly ball soccer ball. She also enjoys helping Chey film content, supporting other dogs and their guardians as they learn to communicate more clearly, and serving as a very willing test subject for Chey’s new skills and developing programs.

Becky Dunovan CPDT-KSA

Becky has been helping dogs and their people build stronger relationships for more than 20 years. She believes that training should be rooted in trust, communication, and positive reinforcement, creating lasting bonds between dogs and the families who love them. As a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, Knowledge and Skills Assessed (CPDT-KSA) and a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, Becky is passionate about continuing education and staying current with the latest developments in training and behavior. She especially enjoys helping shy dogs gain confidence and assisting families in creating the foundation their puppies need to thrive. Becky finds great satisfaction and fulfillment in helping families better understand their dogs and as a result creating harmony in the human canine relationship. She looks forward to supporting guardians and their canine companions with compassionate, relationship-based training that brings out the best from both ends of the leash.
