Jenn Friedline started her dog training career in the summer of 2017. Like most trainers, her education was focused on helping her own pet. Living with a reactive dog helped Jenn develop the skills and desire to help other dogs and their guardians.
Since opening Jenn's Dogs in October of 2020, Jenn has focused on furthering her education on emotional recovery for dogs. In 2021, Jenn earned her first certification (CDPT-KA and completed the Master Class on Aggression in dogs. In 2023 she undertook the Applied Ethology Family Dog Mediation Professional Course, earning her FDM certification. In 2024, Jenn officially proved her knowledge by earning the Dog Behavior Consultant certification (CBCC-KA)
During her off time, Jenn shares her life with her Husband and 3 dogs. Together they enjoy good food, good wine, and good company.
Sarah was born and raised in Oregon. She lives with her husband and two dogs, Sasha and Lewis. She grew up surrounded by animals and is a big time rescue advocate. She has always felt a deep connection with any dog she meets. Growing up she saw the bad rap that pitties got and she believes that every dog is a good dog. As an Adult Sarah met and fell in love with a little pit bull at the local shelter. Butters was the start to her journey of bringing home pitties and giving them the best life she could. That passion for dogs is what she is known for and now she is taking it one step further. She plans to use her passion and new skills to foster dogs and help them become even more adoptable.
She graduated from Portland State University.
She loves to travel, go to the beach and hike with her family.
Hi, I’m Cheyanna Kelly.
I was born and raised in Yamhill, Oregon, where my love for animals began at an early age. Growing up on a farm, I developed a deep connection to animals, which led me to join 4H at the age of 9. Over the next 11 years, I had the privilege of competing in various shows with different animals, while also exploring horticulture, communication, and art projects. In my final year with 4H, I had the honor of showing dogs, a moment that deepened my passion for canine companions.
Dogs have always been a central part of my life. I’ve had the joy of raising multiple dogs throughout the years, and my current dog, Stevie, has been my training partner since she was just 12 weeks old. Together, we’ve discovered a mutual love for learning. Witnessing how much training has improved our bond, I became inspired to help others who might be facing challenges with their own dogs.
I’m a proud graduate of Yamhill Carlton High and am hoping to earn my Associate of Science degree, with plans to pursue Pre-Veterinary Medicine. My ultimate goal is to transfer to Oregon State University to earn a degree in Animal Science. During my senior year, I had the opportunity to work closely with Newberg Veterinary Clinic on my senior project, which sparked my interest in Theriogenology, the study of reproductive medicine in dogs. Becoming a Theriogenologist is the path I’m passionate about.
When I’m not working, you can often find me hiking with Stevie, riding my horse, or spending quality time with my family and friends. I also enjoy crafting with leather, indulging in dramatic reality TV shows, and capturing special moments through photography, especially of loved ones and their pets.
I’m truly excited to meet all of you and look forward to sharing my knowledge and experience. My goal is to help you, as guardians, build strong, lasting relationships with your fur babies.
Hi, my name is Mahala Brogden and I’m a Trainer Assistant at Jenn’s dogs. Some of the things I do are general office work, assist with leash holding and help out during classes. Having been a life long dog owner and animal lover I believe that the key to having a happy and healthy relationship with your dog is keeping things positive and using clear communication.
Hola, My name is Gabriel Vasquez and I'm a Trainer Assistant here at Jenn’s dogs! I’m a Forest Grove native and a dog person to my core. I’ve been a dog lover my entire life, but it wasn't until I adopted and was caring for a highly reactive dog, that I realized the importance of the human-canine bond. My dog, Rocky, is a Pit bull-Shepherd mix and having him as a four-legged companion has been a truly transformative experience. Working with him and learning how to best meet his needs ignited a passion in me to help other dog owners build strong, loving bonds with their pets.
When I'm not working, you can usually find me working in my yard, getting outdoors with any/all of the dogs in the family, or playing video games.
I'm very excited to learn from Jenn and the team, and I can't wait to use my knowledge and experience to support our clients in their training journey!
